Bad sacadas

One of those little annoyances is misjudged sacadas so high they actually disarrange your knickers.

People aren't trying to be sleazy, they do it because they've got no idea where you are. Unless you verbally protest, they don't even know they've annoyed you.

I bet the men who learned this the old-fashioned way (only with each other) never made this mistake. Not more than once, anyway. In fact I find it hard to imagine how they'd do it even once, but what do I know? I have no information as to how men negotiate such things between themselves, away from the female gaze.

While you have that image in mind, here is Oscar Casas explaining what you need to know.

The only thing I would add is that the silicone-elastic bit of hold-ups, if you knew where that was, would be a pretty good guide to "too high".

It is easier if the followers learn how to completely transfer their weight. But the leader has to know where the followers' weight is before
go ahead with the displacement. And be a "Gentle"man while doing the sacada.

When sacada is done well, it is very wonderful feeling. On the other hand, both of you might have to get some bengay after the dance.

Happy dancing!

Hello!

Some what? You'll have to translate that one.

I don't have any problems with them when they're done well. It's a nice little dramatic accent and not at all intrusive.

Hello Hedgie,
What I know about tango is not much. How it's done is mysterious - as though the dancers are speaking in a language beautiful to my ear but almost completely unfathomable. I enjoyed watching this clip about sacadas, if for no other reason than to fall madly in love with the instructor.

Much love - V

p.s. Bengay is a topical pain reliever used for muscle strain and the like.

Hee hee. "Disarrange your knickers..." hahaha. Yes, I believe some leads think that's the purpose of sacadas.
